Important Trombone Tips:
1) Always attach a label to your trombone case to prevent someone from taking your trombone by accident.
2) Never put books, food, money, toys, or anything besides your trombone and cleaning tools inside your case.
3) Do not set your trombone down where it can be stepped on, sat on, or knocked over. If you are not playing your trombone, put it back into the case right away.
4) Watch out for curious friends or little brothers and sisters who may want to "try out" your trombone. Keep it in a safe place at school and at home.
5) Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme heat.

6) Be very careful with your trombone hand slide. A small ding can make it difficult to play.

6) In your care kit you have two different lubricants, tuning slide grease and hand slide oil. Tuning slide grease is for the tuning slide on the bell only. Hand slide oil is for the hand slide that connects to the bell.

7) After practicing, gently wipe down the outside of the trombone with a polishing cloth.
8) If you get your mouthpiece stuck, do not attempt to take it out yourself. Bring it to The Master Musician and we will remove it for free.
9) Bring your trombone to The Master Musician for regular checkups.

10) Lastly, have fun and enjoy playing the trombone!
