Important French Horn Tips:
1) Always attach a label to your french horn case to prevent someone from taking your french horn by accident.
2) Never put books, food, money, toys, or anything besides your french horn and cleaning tools inside your case.
3) Do not set your french horn down where it can be stepped on, sat on, or knocked over. If you are not playing your french horn, put it back into the case right away.
4) Watch out for curious friends or little brothers and sisters who may want to "try out" your french horn. Keep it in a safe place at school and at home.
5) Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme heat.

6) Oil your rotors every time you practice.
7) Clean your mouthpiece regularly with a brush and warm soapy water.

8) Keep your slides greased once or twice a week to prevent them from getting stuck.

9) After practicing, gently wipe down the outside of the french horn with a polishing cloth.
10) If you get your mouthpiece stuck, do not attempt to take it out yourself. Bring it to The Master Musician and we will remove it for free.
11) Bring your french horn to The Master Musician for regular checkups.

12) Lastly, have fun and enjoy playing the french horn!
